Regular Player - You can register and start playing the free games using play chips. You need to be at least 18 years of age to play free games and become a Regular Player. Premium Player - You can become a premium player by adding cash on A23. You need to be at least 18 years of age to play cash games .

In case of frequent internet disconnections, please check with your internet service provider. Please don't download anything while playing the game. This makes the internet connection weak and might lead to disconnections.

There are many reasons for this to happen, but a prominent one is internet disconnection. In case the problem persists despite proper internet connection, please send us a mail to info@a23.com from your registered email ID mentioning the problem in brief.

If your internet is disconnected in the middle of a game, Autoplay will be enabled for that particular round. In Autoplay mode, the system will take a deck card and discard the same card giving you an opportunity to join back in the game as soon as you are reconnected, thus avoiding unwanted count of 50 and 80.

For 101 Pool, 101 points are added to the current score and for 201 Pool, 201 points are added to the current score.For all games, maximum count is added to the current score.

There is no limit on the no of games you play on A23. You can play until you have enough balance in your account. However, you can add cash in your account based on your daily and monthly limits. Note : You can increase or decrease your Add cash limits from Add Cash Limit page.

You can report collusions while playing the game itself. There is a Report Problem link when the game is in progress. Please mention the player nicknames whom you think are colluding so that we can check and take necessary steps wherever needed.

Information about the playing cards is always encrypted, thereby preventing any third party from viewing the same.

Anti-fraud algorithms track every move (selection of cards, discards, melds, shows) by every player on every table round the clock.

Necessary checks have been implemented to analyze if 2 or more players are colluding during the course of a game/tournament. An alert is automatically raised if there are any signs of collusion. Suspected games are carefully scrutinized; if collusion is confirmed, accounts of players are blocked and their funds seized. The players who are affected by collusion will get their chips refunded to their A23 accounts.

Random number generation is the generation of a sequence of numbers or symbols that cannot be reasonably predicted.RNA has an algorithm which is a set of mathematical operations. In this scenario, the input for RNG is the set of cards, then RNG performs some operations and generates different sequences of cards as output.

Any employee and his/her immediate family is not permitted to play on the site. However, to check the health of the system and reproduce issues reported by customers, we maintain some test accounts in the production system. A Multi-Table Tournament is a format that invites large numbers of players to compete against each other.

You need to register, join and play the Tourney at the specified time.

Tournaments are found under the Tournaments tab on the client lobby. Select a tournament and click on the 'Register' button to register for a tourney.

A Freeroll tourney is a tourney format where there is no entry amount. Players can play on freeroll tourneys based on their eligibility. Separate freeroll tourneys are organized for regular and premium players.

Cash tourney is an entry tourney where only premium players can register. Cash will be deducted from the player's account to register for such tourneys. Entry to some cash tourneys is restricted based on player's ace level.

These are tournaments which are organized during festivals and other major events. In these tournaments, thousands of players generally compete for a large prize pool.

These tournaments are organized to help our newbie players make a comfortable landing into the real money tournament world. Players will be entitled to play on the beginner tourney for only 15 days from their conversion date.

Chips that are used to play tourneys are known as tourney chips.

If a player doesn't have required tourney chips to qualify to the next level, he/she will have an option to re-entry the same.

Each player is dealt one card from a single deck (Jokers are not included). Players are seated clockwise in decreasing order of their individual cards. The player with the highest card (Ace is higher than King) wins and gets to open first. Cut for Seat is done for all game types other than tourneys. For Pool games, Cut for Seat is done only before the first hand.In Points Rummy, Cut for Seat is done for the first hand. In case a new user joins in, it will be done again.

These tournaments do not have a scheduled start time. A Sit&Go tourney begins as soon as the registrations are full. If the number of people required for the Sit&Go tournament to start is ten, then the tournament starts as soon as the tenth player joins.

You can either convert Ace Points to bonuses in the ratio of 20:1, which you can use to play any Cash Game that is available on App or use them for participating in exclusive tournaments on the App. It must be noted that you'll not be able to withdraw the cash converted from Ace Points from the App.

There are 2 ways in which you can upgrade your Ace Level:

  • Upgrade based on accumulating Ace Points - You can upgrade your Ace Level by accumulating Ace Points. You'll need to earn a fixed number of Ace Points within your Validity Period to move between Ace Levels. You cannot skip levels i.e. jump directly from Level 1 to Level 3 by earning Ace Points alone. However, this is possible through the second way of upgrading through Deposits Further, it must be noted that only the Ace Points earned during the current Validity Period will be considered for your progress to the next Ace Level or renewal of the current Ace Level. Please find the upgrade/renewal criteria wrt the AceLevels
  • Upgrade based on the deposits - You can also upgrade your Ace Level by making the prescribed deposit amount within your Validity Period to move between Ace Levels. Further, you can directly jump from Level 1 to Levels 3/4/5 if you deposit sufficient amount into the App, that is required to reach a particular Level. However, if you have deposited more amount than is necessary to upgrade to the next Ace Level, but is not sufficient to skip a level, then you will upgraded to the immediate next level and the corresponding amount would be utilized. The remaining unutilised amount shall be considered for renewal or upgrading the level in the next Validity Period. You can see the remaining unutilised amount in your dashboard. Renewal of an Ace Level is not possible based on the deposits made on the App. Please find the upgrade/renewal criteria wrt the AceLevels

If you fail to upgrade your Ace Level within the Validity Period, your Ace Points, which had been acquired during the Validity Period that just expired, would be looked into. If you have acquired the minimum number of Ace Points required to reach your current Ace Level, prior to the expiry of the Validity Period, then the current Ace Level would be renewed for another Validity Period. If not, you shall be downgraded by one level at the end of the particular Validity Period.

Validity Period refers to the time period for which your current Ace Level remains active . The current Validity Period is 60 days for all the levels.

After making the first deposit in the App & becoming a member of a particular Ace Level, the membership shall be valid during the Validity Period. During this Validity Period you can earn enough Ace Points or deposit the required amount of money as on the Ace Club webpage to upgrade your Ace Level. Once you've upgraded your Ace Level, the next Validity Period starts from the date of such upgrade. During this Validity Period of the new Ace Level, you can earn the required Ace Points or deposit the necessary amount to further upgrade your Ace Level.

If the Validity Period expires and you fail to upgrade your Ace Level within the Validity Period, then you would be downgraded to a level below. However, you always have the option to renew your Ace Level by earning enough Ace Points or depositing the required amount of money post such expiry.

Cash added through other modes like other Bonuses, Gift Vouchers, Leaderboard winnings etc. will not be accounted while calculating the deposits required for the various Ace Levels. Only the bonus that is deposited by the user to the App under the Program will be considered for this purpose.

You can reach Ace Level 3 from Ace Level 1 directly if you fulfill your maximum add cash limits. However, the Ace Points criteria remain the same and you'll have to earn the required Ace Points to move between levels.

Only Ace Points earned during the current Validity Period will be considered for your progress to the next Ace Level or renewal of the current Ace Level. However, all the Ace Points will still be added to your Ace Points balance which can be used to avail exciting rewards on the App.

If the amount deposited by you is more than the amount required to reach a new level, then the remaining amount shall be used, if sufficient, to skip a level and move to the next level. That is, if you as a user in Level 1 deposit an amount that is more than the amount required to move to Level 2, and if the Remaining Amount is sufficient to move to Level 3, then you will directly move to Level 3 from Level 1.

However if the additional amount is insufficient to skip a level, then the Remaining Amount shall be considered for renewal or upgrading the level in the next Validity Period. You can see the remaining amount on your Ace Club dashboard on the app.

Ace points will expire if you are inactive for 6 months. The Ace Points will expire from the beginning of the seventh month of inactivity. For the purpose of this, 'inactivity' shall refer to the user not playing any cash games in the App during the entire period of 6 months.

According to the Finance Bill that the Indian government approved, new tax regulations will take effect on online gaming applications on April 1, 2023. The law mandates that platforms that offer online games must deduct tax at source ('TDS') either at the time of withdrawal or at the end of the financial year. TDS will be assessed at a rate of 30% on each player's net winnings to the extent the net winnings are withdrawn. Net winnings in this context refer to the sum of all winnings minus the all the entry fee paid by a player in the year.

No, You will not have to pay TDS at the end of the game /tournament even if you win more than ₹10000. However this winning will be counted for calculation of Net winnings and TDS will apply at the time of redeem as per policy.

'Net winnings in a game' means the total amount won/lost by the user in a game minus the total entry/joining fee paid in that game. 'Net winnings' in any period means the sum of positive and negative net winnings in all games for that period. On April 1, 2023 every user will start Net Winnings = 0.

In simpler terms, Net winnings = Profits from the games you won minus losses in the games where you didn't win.

In the above example user has a profit of 400 Rs in Game 1, and loss of 100 Rs in Game 2 and Profit of 300 Rs in Game 3. Net winnings at the end of Game 3 = 400 - 100 + 300 = 600 Rs

TDS is calculated as 30% of the Net Winnings if the Net winnings are greater than Zero. TDS is Zero is the Net Winnings are Negative.

Taking the above example, TDS will be 30% of 600 = 180 Rs.

TDS is deducted at the time of processing a Redeem request based on the Net Winnings at that time of Redeem Request.

If the Net Winnings are greater than Zero at the time of withdrawal, TDS will be computed as 30% of Net Winnings or Withdrawal amount whichever is lower. The TDS amount will be deducted from the Withdrawal request and the balance amount will be transferred to the user.

Continuing with the example in Question # 2 -

  • The player had net winnings of 600 Rs and if the player places a withdrawal request for 600 Rs, TDS will be 180 Rs and 600-180=420 Rs will be credited to the players account.
  • If the Redeem request is for 500 Rs, TDS for the user will be on 500 Rs (Since redeem amount is less than Net winnings). Net Payment to the user is 500-150= 350 Rs.

At the end of the Financial year - If there is a pending tax liability, the outstanding TDS amount will be deducted from the player's wallet.

Any net winnings on which TDS is already paid at the time of any earlier withdrawals in that financial year, would be reduced while computing net winnings at the time of withdrawal.

If your net winnings reduce or become negative at the end of the financial year, you can file your tax returns and claim refunds from the income tax department depending on your overall tax liability. For more information, please contact your tax adviser.

A23 will provide the TDS Certificates so that you can file your tax returns. However, A23 will not refund any excess TDS to the players.

As per the new policy, there is no deduction on any withdrawal until 31 March 2023. This balance will be carried forward in your account on 1st April 2023. For any redeems placed after 1st April 2023, TDS will be calculated on Net Winnings for the games that are played from 1st April 2023 onwards.

PAN details is mandatory for placing a redeem/withdraw starting from 1st April 2023. Please complete the PAN verification process before placing a request to withdraw.

TDS deduction from a redeem depends purely on net winnings. If you have positive net winnings that are not taxed yet, TDS will be applicable on that redeem.
