These sequences need a valid pure sequence which contains 3 or more cards of the same suit but different ranks. Sets have 3 or more cards in the same rank but different card suits. Without a pure sequence you cannot declare in rummy.
Aim:
A player needs to have a pure sequence as well as a low number of unmatched cards to win.
Winning at rummy:
A pure sequence is only valid if no joker is used. Even if a wild joker is used, it needs to be used at face value. For example if the wild joker is a Queen of Hearts, then it can be only used as queen of hearts and not to replace a missing card in a sequence. An impure sequence can have a wild joker or a printed joker to replace a missing card or to form a sequence.
Card points:
Ace: 10, Face cards: 10, and the rest of the cards are ranked as per their value. For example: 9 of any suit will have nine points.
Deals Rummy
Deals rummy as the name suggests, is a rummy game that is based on deals and is played between 2-6 players.
How to play:
Players are given chips at the beginning of the game, which are pre-decided and there are a set number of deals as well. This rummy game can be played with as many as 8 players. Each player is given 13 cards to begin the game.
Aim:
You need to be the first player to have all your sequences together. You need two sequences along with sets to be declared a winner. Out of those two sequences, one needs to be a pure sequence without a joker.
Winning at rummy:
